Tube update: Regent’s Park.

November 14, 2011

This morning I had to go to Westminster, so I took a picture of Regent’s Park station. The park across from here is so pretty – back at the end of summer / beginning of autumn, I had a very nice lunchtime picnic (of sorts!). Unfortunately, the station is another subway one, so there’s not a great deal of it to see, but nevertheless I diligently took my picture:

I would also have taken a picture of Great Portland Street station (which is where I head to on my way back from Westminster) but I was with my boss and she was in a rush, so I didn’t want to a) delay her, and b) for her to think I am weird – I couldn’t be bothered to explain my project! So maybe next time…

Tube update: Kensington Olympia and West Kensington.

November 13, 2011

Okay, so this is my second post in one day, and it all came about because after I got home from Tesco, having bought some razor blades, I realised that I had forgotten to get the security box taken off! So I watched Twilight (I am going to be watching New Moon and Eclipse too in order to prepare for the release of Breaking Dawn on Friday – whoop!), and then went back to get the security box taken off. And as I was out, I decided to go for a walk and tick another couple of tube stations off my list before it got too dark. So I headed firstly to Kensington Olympia, where I had to walk right up to the station to find any kind of sign (excluding a little flap on a lamppost). And even then, unlike all of the other Underground buildings, this sign wasn’t even blue! :

Then after finally locating this sign, I walked back via West Kensington. By this point, it was pretty dark (I miss the light evenings!) but I managed to get a decent picture:

Onto the next! I am headed to Westminster for work tomorrow so if I can, I shall try and get Regent’s Park and/or Great Portland Street to add to the collection 🙂
